It is a great privilege to be able to provide some comfort to your friend and her family. At a time like this, words seem inadequate, but they're all I have, and I'm glad they were a blessing.Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04158147301315334605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597148100822491954.post-10675880617971404092012-12-16T16:58:22.498-05:002012-12-16T16:58:22.498-05:00"Traditionally, the weeks leading up to Chris..."Traditionally, the weeks leading up to Christmas are also a time when Christians wait for Jesus to return to Earth and restore shalom to the whole world. The mourning we share today is one of many reminders that this hasn’t happened yet – but the promise of Christmas is that it will."<br />So true. Nicely done. Four of the Sandy Hook Elementary School children and one adult in the massacre were close personal friends to my friend and her family of four children. The only reason her 6 year old son wasn't in that classroom was because he's private school educated. Otherwise, when he comes home from school, he plays with the children from that school. One of them lived on his street and played often with him. This is sense of indescribable loss for the families in the town. Your words and prayers towards them certainly add to helping heal. Thank you. Brookehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07564233348365130119noreply@blogger.com
